The Jack Harrison VC MC Charitable Trust are very pleased to announce details for the upcoming exhibition about Hull-born Hero of the Holocaust Ada Vallinda Walsh, aka Sister Agnes (Clare) Walsh.

It is now confirmed that author and former French Embassy attache Alain Cremieux, who was a 7-year-old Jewish boy hidden along with other Jews by Sister Agnes in occupied France, will arrive in Kingston Upon Hull on Sunday 7th September and will open the exhibition, along with the current Lord Mayor, at Hull History Centre on Tuesday 9th September.
Monsieur Cremieux and his wife will also meet the closest living relatives of Sister Agnes, namely her nephew Peter Walsh Judson, his wife Mercia and their son and daughter Ian Peter Judson and Melanie Allinson during their visit.
The exhibition itself will be open from 9th to 12th September and again on 16th to 20th to September and includes a talk about the life of Sister Agnes by her Great Nephew Ian at 12:30pm on the opening day.
Items in the exhibition will include her British Hero of the Holocaust Medal and a print of the letter from Yad Vashem confirming her naming on the List of the Righteous Among the Nations, as well as some personal items from Sister Agnes and her family.
Ian Judon’s book, ‘Auntie Ada’, can be purchased from Barnthorn Publishing.
