BBC Look North host Peter Levy said: “Unbelievable. I’ve never seen a magic trick so close and have no idea! Lovely guy and hugely talented.”

Scott, branded as “the bad boy of magic” or “the bad boy illusionist” by national press, has also previously appeared on national television to millions of viewers, featured as the cover star of luxury magazines and performed for Hollywood celebrities, including actress Joanna Lumley, actor Jeremy Irons and global recording artist Tinie Tempah.

In a statement when asked “Why Hull?”, Scott said:“For love and magic. Why else? Hull has a rich history, beautiful architecture and community full of interesting people. York is only 45 minutes away with Leeds and Lincoln just 60 minutes away. All cities that are special for me where I work with clients on events.”
