Hull University Students’ Union has launched Campus Comps, a brand-new competition platform designed to revolutionise how student groups, sports clubs, and societies raise money.
Traditionally, student fundraising relies on bake sales, car washes, and charity drives. Campus Comps is changing that model by running nationwide prize competitions where all profits are directly reinvested into student groups. From kit and equipment to supplies and transport, Campus Comps is tackling the financial challenges and the cost of living crisis that limit student activities.
Competitions are open to the UK public, with low-cost, low-odds tickets giving contributors the chance to win prizes ranging from cash and tech to holidays. Each entry directly supports student life while rewarding participants.
“Our student groups have been really excited about the prospect of a new way to raise money for their clubs and societies. Nothing like this has ever been done before and we’re so happy to be the first to ever try this,” said Andy King, Chief Operating Officer of Hull University Students’ Union.
