The acclaimed British singer-songwriter and filmmaker, Martha Tilston, brings her enchanting presence to audiences around the UK this autumn. A champion of soulful folk, she invites us into a heartfelt journey of inner peace, unity and connection.

Martha will perform an intimate set that draws on songs from an impressive catalogue, including her latest album Luminous (February 2024) – a collection perfectly aligned with themes of oneness and connection. Expect tracks such as We Are Here Now, The Nightjar and Nomad Blood which weave together imagery of the natural world, personal freedom, inner peace and love. She may also include the more politically and spiritually reflective No Separation, a celebration of our environmental and social bonds – poignant for current global challenging times.
In addition to her music, Martha is also the creator of a feature film, The Tape, written and directed by her, she also plays the lead character and recorded the soundtrack live on set – altogether a rare UK milestone in contemporary film-making. This ‘folk musical’ has developed a largely viral, cult following with over 600,000 viewings. It offers a sweeping meditation on creativity, liberation, and human connection.
Together with her band Martha has toured internationally, sharing sparkling melodies, filmic soundscapes and earthy basslines. Audiences are invited to reflect on how art and myth intertwine with everyday life, inspiring them to connect more deeply with themselves, each other, and the natural world.
“Martha Tilston has carved her niche with sharp, original songs that dissect the modern world. She captures both the harshness and enchantment of life, with the salt of sea air almost palpable.” The Guardian
