The Department for Education Skills Bootcamps initiative provide candidates with the opportunity to develop new skills that employers are looking for, whether it be retraining for a new career or progression within their current role.

The on-site Skills Bootcamps will provide candidates the opportunity to gain experience in both Engineering and Renewables, opportunities include:
Introduction to Industrial Engineering
Expertly delivered by CATCH Trainers, this 12-Week Programme will see candidates gain hands on experience in both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, those who are successful in completing the programme will receive an EAL Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Performing Engineering Operations.
Green Skills Bootcamp – Wind Turbine Technician
Maersk Training offer the opportunity for candidates to gain the necessary skills required for a career as a Wind Turbine Technician, or other associated roles in the Renewable Sector. Successful completion of this bootcamp will see candidates gain GWO Accreditation.
Green Skills Bootcamp – Blade Repair
A collaboration between CATCH Skills, Maersk Training and Renewable Power Academy, the Blade Repair Pathway enables candidates to gain both GWO and ECITB Accreditation, with candidates gaining vital skills for Blade Repair, as well as other associated career paths.

Skills Bootcamps are open to both employed and unemployed candidates, with candidates being fully supported not only in their development of technical skills but also gaining the necessary endorsements and signposting to future career opportunities, should this be required.
