The latest Healthy Holidays Hull winter programme has been a fantastic success, reaching 5,185 children, young people, and families across the city during the winter break.

An impressive array of free activities and warm zones included SEND ice skating, paddle sessions, crafts, musical theatre, swimming, multi‑sport activities, and much more.
Healthy Holidays Hull is firmly established in the city as a chance for everyone of school age to enjoy. It runs during school holidays in the summer, winter and Easter and includes free, nutritious food at almost all sessions.
Funding for Healthy Holidays Hull has been secured until March 2029, which means Hull City Council can continue to provide incredible opportunities for school‑age children and young people in the city.
Councillor Linda Tock, Portfolio Holder for Children’s Services at Hull City Council, said: “Healthy Holidays Hull continues to make a real difference to children, young people and families across our city, particularly during the winter months when pressures can be greatest.
“The breadth of activities on offer – from inclusive SEND sessions to sport, arts and creative opportunities – means there is truly something for everyone. Securing funding until 2029 allows us to build on this success, reach even more families, and keep improving the programme so it reflects the needs and voices of our communities.”
Behind the scenes, new and exciting ways to make the programme even better are being made to ensure Healthy Holidays Hull meets the needs of our city. Please take a few minutes to complete the questionnaire and share your views: https://forms.office.com/e/wMKkt38zA3
