Go, go, go Hessle Theatre Company: A technicolor show bursts onto the Hull New Theatre stage

Award-winning Hessle Theatre Company is thrilled to bring ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ to Hull New Theatre from 10–14 March 2026, in a vibrant new production of the world’s favourite family musical.

One of the most enduring shows of all time, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat has been performed across the globe and has introduced generations of audiences to the joy of musical theatre. With Tim Rice’s fresh, funny lyrics and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s irresistibly catchy music, the show remains a timeless celebration of family, hope, and the power of following your dreams.

This colourful retelling of the classic biblical story follows Joseph on his uplifting journey from humble beginnings to becoming Pharaoh’s right-hand man. Packed with wall-to-wall hits including Any Dream Will Do and Close Every Door, the show is bursting with energy, humour, and heart.
