Comedian Alastair Clark’s acclaimed love-letter-to-record-collecting tours the UK’s best independent record stores.

Alastair Clark has announced the first ever stand-up comedy tour of independent record shops. Alastair will be performing On The Record, a show about his time working in an independent record shop, waxing lyrical about crate digging, needle dropping and arguing with children about Limp Bizkit.
Alastair Clark commented: “The show’s about how I fell into, obsessed about, then walked away from my life in vinyl. It’s for the record fanatics and hard-core collectors, but, at its heart, it’s about living your dreams… everyone can relate to that.”
Described as a “genuine talent” (The Skinny) Alastair Clark’s trademark conversational style and quirky delivery has highlighted him as one of the alternative comedy scene’s leading emerging acts. A veteran of the Edinburgh Fringe, Brighton Fringe and Leicester Comedy Festival. Having featured on BBC Upload in 2025 he became a regular on Joel Mitchell’s BBC Radio show. He co-organised the 2025 PBH Free Fringe Weekender, raising money for the continued support of price-accessible shows at Edinburgh Fringe.
