Three Hull networking groups join forces to host new collaborative networking event

Three of Hull’s leading networking communities are coming together for the first time to host a brand-new collaborative event designed to strengthen connections across the city’s business community.

Hull Businesswomen’s Breakfast Club, Women in Business Hull and The Business Culture HEY have partnered to launch “Connect & Collaborate”, an evening networking event taking place on Thursday 23rd April at Garbutt’s on Princes Avenue.

The event will bring together members from all three organisations for an informal evening of networking, cocktail making and food, creating an opportunity to meet, share ideas and build new professional relationships.

The collaboration has been organised by Ellie Birch, Chair of Hull Businesswomen’s Breakfast Club, Rachel Miskin, Chair of Women in Business Hull, and Michelle Bowler, Director of The Business Culture HEY.

Ellie Birch said: “We’re really excited to bring the three groups together for this. Hull has such a fantastic community of women in business and this feels like a lovely opportunity to bring those networks together for an evening of conversation, connection and new ideas.”

Rachel Miskin added: “Many women are already part of more than one of these networks, but this is a wonderful opportunity to bring everyone together in one room. We’re looking forward to seeing new conversations spark new ideas and partnerships.”

Michelle Bowler said: “Building strong relationships across the business community is incredibly important. Connect & Collaborate is all about creating a welcoming space where people can meet, share experiences and support one another.”

The evening will include a cocktail making experience where guests will have the opportunity to create two cocktails, alongside food and relaxed networking in the stylish surroundings of Garbutt’s.

Tickets are priced at £25 and are initially being offered to members of the three participating networking organisations.

The organisers hope the event will be the first of many collaborative initiatives supporting Hull’s growing business community.
