A Yorkshire Wolds brewery is hosting a guided walk to highlight the beauty and history of the area around the brewery’s home.

On 6th June, Alec Boyd, National Trails Officer for the Yorkshire Wolds Way, will lead a 6.5-mile ‘Walking the Wolds’ walk from Hunmanby Grange farm, home to Wold Top Brewery.
During the three hour walk, participants will learn about the history and geology of the area, plus information about the 79-mile Yorkshire Wolds Way National Trail, which goes from Hessle to Filey and passes close to the brewery.
Events co-ordinator Sam Smith is excited to host the popular event for the fifth consecutive year: “Alec’s predecessor, Malcolm Hodgson, led this walk for us for many years before his retirement last year, and we’re delighted that Alec is quite literally following in Malcolm’s footsteps, and has offered to lead this popular walk for us.”
The ‘Walking the Wolds’ event takes place on Saturday 6th June and leaves the brewery at 9:30am. Tickets cost £20 and include a drink and a substantial afternoon tea at the finish. They are available online at https://bit.ly/WTWalkingAug26
