The 79th Londesborough Annual Produce Show takes place in the Concert Hall in the village on Saturday 11th July.

Organised by a committee chaired by farmer Graeme Stephenson, the show boasts 99 classes and is open to all.
“It’s a popular show and is an important event in the village calendar. We have classes for everything from fruit and veg through flowers, cookery and preserves to handicrafts and children’s classes. We’re looking forward to receiving lots of entries,” said Mr Stephenson.
The entry fee for the adult classes is 50p per entry and 10p for the children’s classes. Entries should be at the Concert Hall between 9am and 11am, and members of the public are welcome to view them from 2pm. Entrance costs £1.50, and children are free. There will be a bring-and-buy stall, a raffle, and Rustik Lounge from Market Weighton will be serving refreshments.
The committee would like to extend its thanks to the cup sponsors: Market Weighton Allotments Association, Free Spirit Flowers, Mouse House Floral Designs, Rustik Lounge, Shiptonthorpe Milk Shed, Acorn Hollow, A Love and a Kiss, three60 marketing and pr, MW Farm Supplies, and three60 construction.
