Families are invited to step back in time this June as award-winning Yorkshire adventure play attraction William’s Den hosts a prehistoric takeover filled with roaming dinosaurs, fossils and family fun.
Taking place on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th June, the Dino Den Takeover will transform William’s Den into a Jurassic playground where children can come face-to-face with giant dinosaurs, uncover ancient fossils and take on a range of exciting family challenges.
Designed to spark imagination and encourage outdoor play, the weekend promises interactive experiences for explorers of all ages, combining hands on discovery with plenty of adventure.
Visitors can look forward to giant-sized fun throughout the day with a series of dinosaur encounters and hands-on activities across the Den.
Highlights include:
- Dino Meet & Greets– Get up close with both giant and baby dinosaurs as they roam the Den throughout the day. Expect plenty of roars, photo opportunities and unforgettable family moments.
- Dinosaur Mini-Museum– Discover a fascinating collection of genuine and replica fossils in an interactive exhibit hosted by Hull’s Dinostar– The Dinosaur Experience.
- 9-Hole Dinosaur Mini Golf – Take on a prehistoric putting challenge and see who will be crowned the family mini-golf champion.
- The Great Fossil & Bone Digs– Young palaeontologists can dig for hidden treasures in dedicated excavation zones and uncover ancient secrets buried beneath the ground.
- Ranger William Mascot Meet & Greets– Say hello to Ranger William and friends throughout the day with opportunities for high-fives, photos and plenty of smiles.
- Play Pioneer Games– Team up for outdoor adventures including den building, family challenges and interactive games designed to get everyone playing together.
Families can also enjoy even greater value this summer, as William’s Den is proudly participating in the Government’s Great British Summer Savings Scheme. The initiative is designed to help families make the most of the school holidays while enjoying memorable experiences together, making the Dino Den Takeover an even more affordable day out.
