The Return of Hull Dub Club

Hull’s ever-diverse grassroots music scene sees one of its latest successes make a return on Saturday 26th September 2026, with local promoter/producer Nathan Simm (aka Simma) bringing back his Hull Dub Club sessions at The Adelphi for the first time in 18 months.

On one side of the venue you’ll find the bespoke, hand-built, bass-heavy speaker stack – Three Crowns Soundsystem, ensuring the music is felt in your chest. On the other side of the room you’ll find the control tower, with various selectors, MC’s and musicians taking up residence at ground level, refusing the elevated stage and staying equal with everyone in attendance, allowing people to dance freely and not be pushed into staring in one direction.

Tickets are priced deliberately cheap to make the event as accessible as possible – just £6 in advance with no additional booking fees if you go direct to www.hulldub.club

“Hull has an incredible independent music scene, and there’s a real appetite for music that sits outside the mainstream. This is by the community, for the community. Everything Hull Dub Club has done has been operating on a non-profit basis to ensure our city has access to some soundsystem culture”

Headliner Indra MC makes the trip up from Bristol for his debut performance in Hull, playing an extended set alongside Simma.

Warmup comes from the legendary Porky, digging through his archive of roots vinyl,
