Bilton Amateur Dramatic Society present Sleighed To Death

BADS are to perform Sleighed to Death.

Bilton Amateur Dramatic Society (BADS) are set to perform Peter Gordon’s comedy play  “Sleighed To Death”.

The Director, Helen Davison, gets the chance to put on this particular production, having first read the play soon after it was published. She has found what she describes as “the perfect cast” for this play, with each character’s physical description and character matching up ideally to the actors playing them.

BADS have tackled Peter Gordon’s work four times before and the cast are all looking forward to learning his well-written lines again, as well as having a lot of fun during the rehearsals. The whole cast has worked very hard, putting in long rehearsal hours and perfecting their characterisations under Helen’s guidance.

Helen and her husband Keith have built the set for this production between them, and it’s really helped the cast to rehearse with all the furniture, props and set decor in place well in advance. There are a couple of new members to the BADS family this time, although neither of them are strangers to performing, and they’ve slotted in so well that it feels as though they’ve been there from the beginning.
