Building Society colleagues collecting items for Cherry Tree Community Centre’s Youth Hub

Colleagues at Hull’s branch of Yorkshire Building Society are collecting donations, including arts and craft materials, sensory toys, sweets and snacks to support a local youth club for 10-18 year olds in Beverley.

The Society’s branch on Paragon Street in Hull has become an official donation station for Cherry Tree Community Centre’s Youth Hub. The items collected will enable the youth club to put on fun, enriching activities and trips for the children who attend the service.

Cherry Tree Community Centre’s Youth Hub is aimed at young people aged 10-18 (and up to 25 with SEND) and has a strong team of well-motivated and enthusiastic youth workers who are dedicated to improving the life chances of the young people they are in contact with. They run sessions on evenings and weekends and plan activities for the school holidays.

Nikki Clarke, Customer Consultant at the Hull branch of Yorkshire Building Society, said: “We are excited to be able to support Cherry Tree Community Centre and really want to help make a difference with our collection station.

“Items can be dropped off at the Hull branch and we are grateful for any donations, large or small.”

The collection will be running until 31st March 2026 and donations can be dropped into the branch between 9am – 4:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday or 9:30am – 4:30pm on a Wednesday.
