Connexin recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces in Tech™

The 2025 UK’s Best Workplaces in Tech™ list was launched this morning by Great Place To Work® UK, recognising Connexin among the list of organisations in the ‘Large & Super Large’ category.

Connexin’s employees anonymously reported that the company is a great place to work thanks to its evident commitment to employees through benefits like paid study time, enhanced parental leave, and essential medical cover through Medicash.

The company also empowers employees to give back, recently raising funds for Teenage Cancer Trust for World Cancer Day and encouraging the team to take part in local Hull charity Dove House Hospice’s ‘It’s a knockout’ fundraising event.

They continue to raise thousands of pounds through the dedicated Connexin Cares scheme for local charities, as well as offering career mentoring and apprenticeships to diverse candidates in the community.

This marks the second consecutive year Connexin has been recognised at the awards, as well as receiving Great Place To Work Certification in October 2024 and, more recently, recognition in March 2025 as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces.

Great Place To Work® UK administered their research-backed Trust Index™ employee survey and analysed the responses of UK-based tech employees to determine the Best Workplaces™ list.  The surveys asked employees to comment on how their company supports their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security. Evaluations also included an assessment of how well the organisation was able to deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.

Analysis of the sector employee survey responses found:

84% of employees at the UK’s Best Workplaces in Tech™ say “I want to work here for a long time” compared to 67% at a typical company in this sector.

Connexin scored higher than the year before in almost every focus area, with Hospitality, Team, Collaboration, Pride, and Communication seeing the biggest jumps, each increasing by 6% or more.

80% of employees said Connexin is a great place to work and over 90% of employees agreed that Connexin fosters a diverse and inclusive workforce where everyone is treated fairly, regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation.

Tracy Hemming-Tayler, VP of People and Culture at Connexin, said of the award: “Connexin’s recognition as one of the best technology workplaces is powered by the brilliant minds and innovation of our people. Being recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ 2025 reflects not only our strong culture but also our commitment to creating opportunities within the tech industry. We’re dedicated to building an environment where top tech talent feels valued, supported, and inspired to shape the future of connectivity and digital innovation.”
