A brand-new event, ‘Make a Splash’, is launching at The Deep this Easter, gearing up to be an exciting, fun-filled and interactive day out for all ages.

Featuring insightful demonstrations, hands-on activities and craft activities, the event blends the theme of underwater science with the amazing marine life to be explored at The Deep.
Running from 28th March to 12th April, visitors can uncover fascinating facts about the water cycle through live presentations at 12pm and 2pm with the help of ‘Puddles’, The Deep’s mini virtual mascot.
Bonus highlights include a dedicated trail around the aquarium, hunting for clues both below and above the waves, discovering all about the different stages of the water cycle.
There is also the opportunity to listen in to the sound of water and describe how it makes visitors feel, helping to form part of a beautiful cloud art installation in the aquarium.
John Andrews, Head of Operations & Guides at The Deep, said: “Make a Splash is set to be an engaging family-friendly event, as we dive into the world of marine science through exploring the water cycle.”
“It’s a topic we’re all passionate about at The Deep, and we look forward to welcoming visitors this Easter for what promises to be a fun educational day out.”
Every standard admission ticket is an Annual Pass, so just pay once and enjoy unlimited free return visits for a full 12 months. What’s more, your ticket helps directly support The Deep as a conservation and education charity with a mission to protect our oceans.
