Eggciting times ahead as Hull Theatre unveils panto competition

Hull New Theatre has announced it is to hold an Easter Egg hunt with a difference over the coming weeks with a bag of cracking prizes up for grabs.

One lucky winner will win a giant of a prize including a family ticket to this year’s pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, a £20 voucher to spend at the Ferens Art Gallery Cafe courtesy of Venue Hull and a bumper goody bag from the Museums team.

To be in with a chance of winning contestants will need to ‘eggsplore’ and seek out 12 golden egg images dotted around Hull Culture and Leisure venues across the city, noting down their location on an official entry form.

The eggs will start appearing in galleries, leisure centres, libraries, museums, parks, theatres and other entertainment venues from Monday 11 April, in a bid to encourage more families to enjoy the fantastic facilities on offer in Hull.

Designed to spread the panto fun beyond Christmas, the competition takes its inspiration from the goose that lays the golden eggs, an integral part of Jack and the Beanstalk, which takes to the stage at Hull New Theatre this December.
