Continuing expansion of specialist haulage firm Lymer’s Assist Ltd has seen the acquisition of a new 150-ton tractor unit to join their fleet.
The new addition will increase the firm’s capacity and the services on offer, joining their existing 65- and 80-ton units, hiabs and crane trailers.
Managing Director Alex Lymer said: “When we set up six years ago, we had a vision of offering assistance to the haulage sector. My dream was to be able to offer the whole package. The acquisition of a tractor unit able to haul 150 tonnes is another step on that journey.”
This latest investment marks an important milestone for the company, which now operates a site in Hull, warehousing facilities close to the M1, and a depot in Derbyshire.
Lymer’s Assist Ltd is able to offer storage solutions with over five acres of outdoor space and 30,000sq feet of indoor space across the three depots.
New staff have also been recruited and Alex is delighted with the quality team that they have been able to put together: “We have a team of outstanding professionals that ensure the best possible service to our customers.”
