Hull Philharmonic Orchestra will bring their 2018/19 season to a close with a concert at Hull City Hall on 11th May.
It will feature the outstanding young viola player Timothy Ridout, currently a Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT) artist, who will join the orchestra for the brilliant virtuoso showpiece, the William Walton Concerto.
He will also present the world premiere of local composer Kerrin Tatman’s Fantasy for Viola and Orchestra.
Conducted by Andrew Penny, the concert will also see the orchestra launch a cycle of all the Brahms Symphonies over four years, starting with No 1.
There will be a pre-concert talk at 6.30pm with Kerrin Tatman, Timothy Ridout and Andrew Penny.
