Gags and giggles aplenty at Hull City Hall’s monthly comedy club

No need to be superstitious on Friday 13th this February as Hull City Hall has a stellar line-up of comedians ready to lighten the mood at the Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club.

Headlining this month’s line-up in the Mortimer Suite is Matt Price, who is known for having some of the most extraordinary and outrageous stories drawn from the wilder side of life.

Hailing from Cornwall, he brings true warmth and heart to the stage whilst finding some audacious laughs in the most unexpected places. He has toured around the world and played at the ever-growing Edinburgh Festival, no less than thirteen times.

Second on the bill is Anth Young, who is a regular on the comedy scene at clubs up and down the UK. His comedy is characterized by his observations of human behaviour and society, which he uses to craft his incredibly funny jokes.

The venue also welcomes Mike Carter, who broke into stand up after accidentally signing up for a comedy course intended to help people middle aged men suffering from depression. He was 27 and just happy to be out of the house.  Mike engagingly covers everything that life has to throw at you and brings a fearless yet friendly approach to comedy. They will be joined by resident host and compere, Jed Salisbury, Hull’s very own gagster extraordinaire, who will bring order and more hilarity to the proceedings.

Line-up subject to change.

There’s more Laugh Out Loud Comedy Clubs on the way including 6th March, 10th April and 15th May.
