The team behind Humber Street Distillery Co. and The Minerva have announced the date of this year’s Gin Festival.
Now in its fifth year, the popular Hull festival will take place on Friday 17 and Saturday 18th May, at the spectacular Hull Minster.
The event will showcase over 100 gins, including a selection of Humber Street Distillery Co’s own gins, and a range from many other Yorkshire distilleries.
There will be also be a chance to meet Master Distillers from the Yorkshire region.
Food will be provided by Hull-based street food operator Shoot the Bull, and there will also be a range of craft beers and soft drinks.
Live music and DJ sets have been organised by Humber Street Sesh mastermind, Mark Page, AKA Mak.
Event organisers Lee Kirman and Charlotte Bailey, owners of Humber Street Distillery Co. and licensees of The Minerva Pub, are expecting another busy festival.
Lee said: “Last year’s festival was very successful and tickets quickly sold out.
“The gin boom is still going strong. I think it’s still so popular because no two gins are the same as different botanicals and recipes are used to create the finished spirit.
“There’ll be more than 100 gins at the festival so there’s definitely something for everyone, plus some good local live music and street food, all of which will add to the fabulous atmosphere of the event.
“Hull Minster is a breathtaking venue, so people can enjoy being in that great space and have a nice gin tipple at the same time!”
The festival is split into 3 sessions:
Saturday 12-5pm and 6pm-11pm.
Tickets are priced at £10, which includes entrance fee, a branded gin glass and a gin recipe guide.
Tickets are available from Hull Box Office:
