Help RSPCA Hull & East Riding bring Petwise to life

RSPCA Hull & East Riding is excited to announce that it has reached the Public Voting Stage of the Almo Nature: Companion for Life Grant – and your vote could help secure £11,000 to launch its Petwise Project.

Petwise is a life-changing outreach and education programme developed by the independent, self-funded charity. It will deliver fun, interactive animal welfare workshops to:

  • Children in schools
  • Families in the community
  • Isolated individuals in need of support

It will promote compassionate pet ownership, equipping people with the knowledge, skills and confidence to provide lifelong, loving homes for cats and dogs – preventing cruelty, neglect and abandonment.

From classroom activities to village hall drop-ins, Petwise makes a real difference in communities across Hull and East Yorkshire.

Why your vote matters

✅ They receive no automatic funding from the national RSPCA.
✅ Petwise will reach 500+ children and 100+ families through 60+ workshops.
✅ It teaches the Five Animal Welfare Needs in creative, accessible ways.
✅ It prevents suffering before it starts by building a kinder, more informed community. This is your chance to make a real impact with one simple action.

Voting closes on 22nd October – and only the top 7 projects will receive funding. You can vote here: https://staging.reintegrationeconomy.crowdm.it/en/progetto/matt-wright
