RSPCA Hull & East Riding, in partnership with Jubilee Central and the Hull Comedy Festival, is thrilled to announce a brand-new fundraising event with a hilarious twist — Cats vs Dogs: The Comedy Panel Show — taking place on Thursday 13th November from 7pm to 10pm at Jubilee Central, King Edward Street, Hull.

This one-of-a-kind evening marks RSPCA Hull & East Riding’s first-ever comedy fundraiser, bringing together top comedians, audience participation, and plenty of friendly rivalry, all in aid of two incredible local charities.
Hosted by Hull comedian Gary Jennison, the show will see two comedy teams, Team Cats and Team Dogs, go head-to-head in a laugh-out-loud battle of wit, stand-up, and silly games to decide once and for all which furry companion truly reigns supreme.
Expect stand-up comedy, witty debates, interactive games, and even a dash of karaoke, with the audience voting at the end of the night to crown the winning team.
All proceeds from the event will be split between:
RSPCA Hull & East Riding Branch CIO – caring for, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need across Hull and East Yorkshire.
Jubilee Church Hull Charity – tackling food poverty and supporting community wellbeing through a range of local projects.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to raise vital funds for our animal welfare work while having a great night out,” said Matthew Wright, Partnerships Manager at RSPCA Hull & East Riding, who will be appearing as Mat the Cat, Captain of Team Cats. “We’re so excited to be working with Hull Comedy Festival and Jubilee Central for this unique event. It promises to be a hilarious and memorable evening, whether you’re Team Cat or Team Dog, come along, cast your vote, and enjoy the show, all while supporting two amazing causes.”
