Local food growers, allotments and community groups will be there to swap seeds and share their love for growing delicious food on a budget, which is especially important as food costs continue to rise.

Everyone is welcome to attend this free event on Saturday 21st February 2026, from 10:30am-2:30pm at Jubilee Central, 62 King Edward Street, Hull, HU1 3SQ.
Although the Seed Celebration will take place on the first floor, the venue is fully accessible to wheelchair users and families with buggies, plus accessible toilets are available.
If visitors don’t have any seeds to swap, the team will have some available on the day that will either be free or can be purchased for a small sum or in exchange for a donation.
There will be stalls from numerous organisations, including:
- Hull Food Partnership
- Hull Fairtrade Partnership
- Groundwork Hull
- Hull Butterfly City
