Hull Training and Adult Education’s (HTAE) Apprentice of the Year 2025 is Declan Lill.

HTAE hosted its annual Learner Awards in Hull’s Guildhall to recognise the contributions and efforts of learners and businesses throughout the year.
A total of 16 awards were handed out on the evening, with the main award, HTAE Apprentice of the Year, going to Declan.
Judges noted Declan’s exceptional initiative and maturity, his proactive attitude and willingness to step forward, plus his innovation and commitment to learning and professional growth.
Cllr Linda Tock, portfolio holder for Hull Training at Hull City Council, said: “These awards really show the fantastic work Hull Training and Adult Education does, as well as the tremendous effort put in by our learners.
“It’s lovely to see everyone come together and I would like to send congratulations to all of the awards winners, particularly Declan Lill as HTAE Apprentice of the Year.”
