A translation company from Hull is the latest business to pledge support to the region’s families by backing a Yorkshire children’s charity.
Language Is Everything has become a patron of The Principle Trust which provides respite breaks to children who are underprivileged, disadvantaged, disabled, have life-limiting conditions, mental health issues or who have experienced poverty, trauma or abuse. Earlier this year the Trust purchased its first holiday home near Filey; the charity also owns respite holiday homes in Blackpool and The Lake District.
From humble beginnings in the early nineties, the Hull based language specialists have evolved into one of the UK’s leading providers of pre-booked and on-demand translation services; the firm serves a national client base of public, private and charitable organisations including international businesses, the NHS, councils, housing associations and the justice system.
Earlier this year the company was named one of the Best Places to Work by the Sunday Times.
Based at Hull Marina, the firm employs around 30 staff and 1500 freelance translators, providing telephone, video and face to face interpreting, document translation, subtitling and transcription services which span over 200 languages.
