Local housebuilder creates an un-bee-lievable buzz this Spring Bank Holiday

Local housebuilder, David Wilson Homes Yorkshire East, is encouraging communities to care for bees this Spring Bank Holiday by giving away Friends of the Earth Bee Saver Kits from the sales office at its Tranby Fields development in Hessle.

Children are encouraged to collect their free packs, which include wildflower seeds, a garden planner, a bee spotter guide, a step-by-step guide and bee postcards as well as an educational bee book, from the sales office at the Tranby Fields development from the 25th to 27th of May.

Linzi Bentley, Sales Manager at Tranby Fields, commented: “We’re dedicated to supporting wildlife in the areas in which we build and want to encourage local residents to do the same. There is a real buzz of wildlife in spring, so it’s a fantastic time for children to get outdoors and learn more about the importance of bees, and how best to care for them.”

Tranby Fields is a beautiful collection of two, three, four and five bedroom homes in Hessle, a popular town on the north bank of the Humber Estuary. The development is close to both the surrounding countryside and amenities of Hessle and the city of Hull. Tranby Fields is open Monday 12.30pm – 5.30pm and Tuesday – Sunday 10am – 5.30pm.
