Celebrate the Queen of Country as The Dolly Show heads to Hull City Hall on 7th November 2026. Considered to be the world’s number one Dolly Parton tribute, Kelly O’Brien is endorsed by the Parton family, has featured on numerous television shows, and was the only UK finalist in the viral global casting search for the new Broadway show, Dolly: A True Original Musical. Expect heart, humour and rhinestone magic with this glittering tribute that features all Dolly’s biggest hits including Jolene, 9 to 5, Islands in the Stream, Coat of Many Colours, Here You Come Again and I Will Always Love You.
From a country legend to rock icons as the Hull-based The ELO Experience returns to Hull New Theatre on 8th January 2027. The world’s foremost tribute to The Electric Light Orchestra, this incredible show features a sensational string section, a stunning light show and a large screen production to accurately reproduce the songs and sounds of The ELO. This magical musical journey includes some of the greatest music ever written from Jeff Lynne with all the iconic numbers as well as a few hidden gems.
Also at Hull New Theatre, The Dazzling Diamonds proudly present their smash-hit comedy variety drag show on 29th January 2027. Expect a fast-paced, laugh-out-loud spectacle like no other presented by a cast of three internationally acclaimed drag performers in a dazzling mix of outrageous comedy, sensational live vocals and jaw-dropping dance routines. Packed full of glitz, glamour and non-stop entertainment, this all-new show contains hilarious new routines, fan favourites and hits from the likes of Tina Turner, Adele, Lady Gaga, and Elton John like you’ve never seen them before.
The entertainment doesn’t stop there as Luther Live & Velvet Voices returns to Hull City Hall on 20th February 2027. Celebrating the golden era of R’n’B, this electrifying show brings the smooth sounds of Luther Vandross, Alexander O’Neal, Marvin Gaye and more to life on stage with powerhouse vocals and a sensational live band. Expect sweet harmonies, soul-stirring performances and some of the biggest classic R’n’B hits including Never Too Much, Dance With My Father, Give Me The Night and Sexual Healing.
