Humbercare is an enabling organisation dedicated to providing quality and innovative services to adults and young people.
Sponsorship: resourcing some time to report on community development and social issues in the city.
Hull Community and Voluntary Services aims to promote the valuable work of the third sector and the importance of volunteering, and to support the sector to grow and achieve its voice and influence on local matters.
Sponsorship: provide a small podcasting studio at Centre 88, Anlaby Road.
The Business Lounge at Hull Central Library has been created to provide a relaxed working environment with easy access to essential business resources, one to one support and networking opportunities. It is part of a movement building strong entrepreneurial communities, providing people with the space to dream, plan and grow.
Sponsorship: provide our main office and newsroom in the city centre.
The John Cracknell Youth Enterprise Bank is for young people who live in Hull, East Riding and the towns of Malton, Norton on Derwent, Pickering in Ryedale and the town of Scarborough, aged up to and including 21 years old. It offers grants of up to £1,000 for individuals or groups of young people who need finance to help make their idea happen.
Sponsorship: resource some time for reporting on youth enterprise in the city.
