Springfield Solutions, one of the UK’s leading brand management, digital print and media providers, is expanding its business in every area. After a significant year of growth, the business announces its largest investment yet, expanding its print capacity with new equipment, doubling the size of its warehouse, and expanding the team.

The investment, named Project 21, will enable the business to sustain its continued growth seen across the past three years. In 2018, Springfield assembled its business development team, which was followed by an expansion in print capacity and building space in 2019.

Matt Dass, Joint Managing Director noted: “The business has seen double digit growth in every year since our plans in 2018. Now it’s time to set out our new plan. Project 21 will see the largest investment in people, equipment and buildings that the business has ever made, and I’m thrilled to be part of a team who will deliver the next chapter in the history of Springfield.”

Project 21’s investments include:

  • Doubling the size of the logistics warehouse and raw materials stock with two new units, which make up 4,000sqft, creating a combined total space of 8,000sqft.
  • Purchase and installation of the L350+LM printing press from Screen, taking the total number of printing presses to five, with the purchase of the next generation SAI press from Screen at a later date.
  • Purchase and installation of a new AGB Digicon Series 3 to run in-line from November.
  • Purchase and installation of a new SRI from AB Graphics.
  • Hiring of 12 new positions, with the potential to expand further.
