Ska spectacular heads to Hull City Hall

The rebellious sound of SKA blasts out at Hull City Hall as Too Much Too Young – The Music of 2Tone & Beyond hits the stage on 1st November.

Following last year’s successful tour, the show has earned the personal backing of The Specials’ guitarist Lynval Golding and drummer Aitch Bembridge, who praised its authenticity and commitment to keeping the 2-Tone spirit alive for a new generation.

To celebrate, the production has released a fresh recording of the iconic Specials’ song Ghost Town, marking the song’s 45th anniversary next year. It was first released in 1981 against a backdrop of riots and rising unrest.

A spokesperson for the show said: “Two – Tone was born out of social tension, and it still speaks to where we are now. This tour isn’t just nostalgia, it’s a live, loud reminder of music’s power to unite.”

This spectacular production includes a full live band, original visuals and the biggest hits from Madness, The Specials, The Beat, The Selecter, Bad Manners and beyond.
