When Sami’s mum Sheila was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma their lives were turned upside down. Walking into Dove House Hospice for the first time was like a huge weight had been lifted from their shoulders. Sheila was able to die how she wanted, surrounded by the people she loved most.
This was all made possible because of Dove House Hospice and the incredible local people who support them.
Sami is appealing to local people to buy raffle tickets and support Dove House Hospice: “Please consider taking part in this year’s Spring Raffle, your support means the hospice can continue to be there for families like mine and ensure every family who needs it can have such special care right until the end.”

Tickets are available until 24 March 2022, with the draw taking place on 25 March 2022.
As well as Dove House Hospice, the Spring Raffle, run by Your Charity Lottery, is raising funds for other charities including hospital charities, support for children with disabilities, veterans and vulnerable adults.
