Taskmaster star brings a ‘Bench’ to Hull City Hall

Star of Taskmaster, Man Down and Junior Taskmaster Mike Wozniak brings his new stand-up show The Bench to Hull City Hall’s Mortimer Suite in 2026. 

A story about a bench will be prominent. Previous experience of or strong opinions about benches not required. Let Mike worry about that on 19th March 2026.

The legendary contestant on BAFTA and Rose D’Or winning Taskmaster, star of RTS Award winning Junior Taskmaster, and host of hit cult podcast Three Bean Salad, embarks on his biggest tour to date with brand-new material.

The ever busy comedian is set to star in the BBC’s brand-new adaptation of the hit children’s novel Dexter Procter: the 10-Year-Old Doctor, written and created by BAFTA-winner Adam Kay (This is Going to Hurt). He will star alongside Jameela Jamil (The Good Place), Konnie Huq (Blue Peter), Harry Enfield, (Harry Enfield and Chums), and Sue Johnston (The Royle Family).

As a stand-up Wozniak has been a comedy festival regular for many years and has penned numerous solo shows. His debut stand-up show was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2008 and in 2013 his show Take The Hit was nominated for Best Show.
