With regular events for Remembrance Day cancelled due to the current coronavirus restrictions, Hull Freedom Chorus have produced a virtual performance to mark the day in a new way.
Clare Drury, leader of the Freedom Chorus, said: “The song is shared as a way for us to mark Remembrance Day at a time when we are restricted from marking it in the normal way due to Covid restrictions. A community response to a need to pay respects to ‘fallen generations gone before’, with a message of hope and peace for the future.
“The Freedom Flame Anthem has been recorded by 30 members of the Freedom Chorus individually and mixed into a whole virtual choir.”
