The Offspring will perform at Bonus Arena in support of the NHS

SoCal icons and one of rock music’s best-selling bands of all time, The Offspring have announced an extra UK headline arena show at the Hull Bonus Arena on Friday 19 November.

This is an especially important show as it has been set up to be in support of all frontline workers and the NHS. An allocation of free tickets are available for local frontline workers and proceeds from the sales of the show will go to the registered NHS charity.

“If not for the hard work and successful rollout of the vaccine programs by the NHS, there wouldn’t even be any live concerts to play,” says Dexter Holland from The Offspring. “We’re so thrilled to be coming back, finally, to the UK and we’re looking forward to giving something back to those who have stepped up and given so much. Rock on!”

Frontman and guitarist Dexter Holland (who has a PHD in molecular biology) along with band mate and guitarist Noodles, reworked and reworded their classic ‘Come Out and Play’ so the chorus ran ‘You’ve Got To Go Get Vaccinated’.

The Offspring’s tenth studio album Let The Bad Times Roll debuted at number 3 in the UK official album chart, their highest ever UK chart position. Elsewhere it landed at #1 on Billboard’s Alternative album chart, charted at #2 on Billboard Top Rock Albums and #27 on the Billboard Top 200.

The album, which marks the band’s first in almost a decade, was released on 16 April  via Concord Records. Previous to this album, the band have sold over 40 million albums worldwide, won countless awards and toured consistently, playing more than 500 shows in the last decade alone.

Tickets are now available for public sale from the Bonus Arena website.

Proceeds will go to the NHS Charities Together.
