The search is on to find Hull and East Riding’s dirtiest office

As offices across the region return to ‘business as usual’, Lightowler – one of Hull’s oldest commercial cleaning, painting and facilities management companies – is looking to reward one lucky workplace with an extra special cleaning service completely free of charge.

Interior of a modern office

Vicky Roberts, commercial director at Lightowler said: “When COVID-19 first hit, we introduced a revolutionary electrostatic sanitisation service to keep our keyworkers safe. This cleaning method involves fully trained, protected staff spraying an electrostatically charged mist across surfaces and objects using a portable spray pack.

“The positively charged particles cling to every surface they touch, killing 99.99% of viruses and bacteria. It’s incredibly powerful and effective and is even used by TfL on London’s tube network.

“We’re delighted to be offering this bespoke sanitisation service for one place of work completely free of charge.

“Whether you support a local charity with an office that needs refreshing, know of a community centre’s workspace that’s looking for a good clean or believe that your hard-working team’s break room could do with sanitising from top to bottom, we’re here to help.

“Our region has faced significant challenges over the last 18 months. But our workforce has been incredibly resilient, and now we want to give back by providing a complimentary electrostatic sanitisation for one place of work that has risen to the challenges presented by the pandemic.

“We were busier than ever during lockdown, with our cleaning staff keeping key workers safe during the height of restrictions. This work hasn’t slowed down and now that offices are reopening, it’s time to prioritise cleaning once again.

“All you need to do to nominate your office is submit the company name and your reason for nominating to: info@lightowler.com or send a direct message via social media.”

The closing date is midnight on 29 October 2021.
