Transformative Hull vehicle livery firm shortlisted for prestigious national awards

The revolutionary vehicle branding and livery firm, Brandfixx, has been shortlisted in the most prestigious, independent light commercial vehicle industry awards in the UK.

The What Van? Awards will be held in Portman Square, London on 9th December when Brandfixx will find out if they have won the top prize in the Aftermarket Accessories category.

The Hull-based company was born out of the industry’s problems associated with the traditional method of branding a vehicle by manually ‘wrapping’ a large printed sheet of cast vinyl around the contours of a vehicle.

This is often a laborious, inefficient and time-consuming process that has not significantly evolved for many years. Brandfixx’s game-changing approach to branding has already resulted in the company being named as Hull and the East Riding’s top innovators in the 2021 Hull and East Yorkshire People in Business Awards (HEYPIBA) Awards and the team will now take on national competition after receiving yet more recognition.

Greg Saunderson, managing director of Brandfixx, who founded the business with his father and Brandfixx CEO, David, said: “We are thrilled to be shortlisted in the Aftermarket Accessories category in such a prestigious competition. We’re up against some stiff competition, so to even be shortlisted is such an honour.

“I have close to two decades of experience in the industry, so I understood the challenges and I knew there must be another way. We set out to revolutionise the market and I believe we’ve truly achieved this.”

Rather than using traditional vehicle ‘wraps’, Brandfixx utilises a modular technique, designed, manufactured and fitted to suit every type of vehicle.

Greg continued: “Brandfixx uses precision, laser-guided 3D scanning technology to reverse engineer the surface of any vehicle, allowing us to create a bespoke, modular vehicle decal kit. This ensures a consistent, millimetre perfect fit for each individual decal panel. It is also much faster to apply – meaning that the vehicle is off the road for less time.

“Despite only launching in 2020, we are already recording an exceptionally high turnover with big-name clients, as well as producing a 50% smaller carbon footprint compared to our competitors – transforming the industry for the better.”
