Zetron, a global leader in integrated mission critical solutions, today announced Dove House Hospice as Zetron UK’s Charity of the Year for 2026, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to supporting local communities.

Based in Hull, Dove House Hospice provides specialist palliative care to adults across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire who are living with life limiting illnesses. The hospice focuses on managing pain and symptoms, while also offering emotional, psychological and practical support to patients and their families. Its aim is to help people maintain dignity, comfort and quality of life during the most difficult times.
Throughout the year, the Zetron UK team will take part in a wide range of fundraising activities to support the hospice’s vital work, as well as volunteering time and raising awareness of the services it provides locally.
Terry Miller, General Manager at Zetron UK, said:
“Supporting a charity that cares, supports and gives people dignity in the toughest of times is incredibly important to Zetron. Every day we work alongside emergency services and control rooms who are there for people at critical moments in their lives. We understand how much compassion, professionalism and humanity matter when people are facing uncertainty or crisis. Dove House Hospice embodies those same values of care and support, and we are proud to stand behind them this year.”
The partnership will see colleagues across the Zetron Hull office come together for a programme of fundraising initiatives designed to be both challenging and fun.
The team kick started their efforts with a ping pong tournament and bake sale, raising funds and building momentum for the year ahead. More activities are already planned, with teams preparing to take part in It’s a Knockout, Strictly Learn to Dance, as well as organised walks, bike rides and other community events.
Jonny Bottomley, Partnership Development Lead at Dove House Hospice, said:
“It’s great to have the backing of Zetron. The charity simply couldn’t survive without the support of local businesses and the wider community. Partnerships like this make a real difference to the care we can provide. In return, we like to make sure our supporters have plenty of fun and laughter along the way while raising those vital funds.”
As a supplier of mission critical communications solutions to control rooms across the UK, Zetron sees first hand the importance of organisations that provide care, reassurance and dignity at life’s most challenging moments. Supporting Dove House Hospice reflects Zetron UK’s commitment to the communities in which its employees live and work.
