Local bus operator Stagecoach East Midlands has announced a range of additional services to help thousands of visitors travel to and from Hull Fair, Europe’s largest travelling funfair and one of the oldest in the country.
The fair will take place at Walton Street Car Park, next to West Park and the MKM Stadium, from Friday 9th October to Saturday 17th October (excluding Sunday).
To support the expected increase in visitors, Stagecoach will operate additional direct services from across Hull, enhanced shuttle buses from the city centre, and dedicated Park and Ride services from two locations.
The popular Hull Fair Shuttle Services 2 and 2F will return for another year, providing a frequent connection between Hull Interchange and the Fair, with buses running up to every seven minutes. Customers arriving in the city centre on regular Stagecoach services can continue their journey to the Fair at no extra cost when travelling with their Dayrider, Megarider, Group Ticket or Return Ticket.
Visitors from East Hull will also benefit from additional journeys direct to the Fair on Service 13 running between 4.30pm and 6.30pm, serving Bilton Grange, Greatfield, Preston Road, Southcoates Lane and Holderness Road, making travel across the City much easier.
Special Hull Fair services will also operate from Kingswood, Bransholme, Sutton Park and East Hull between 4.30pm and 6.30pm. Service 62 will connect Kingswood, Noddle Hill, Spring Cottage, Bellfield Avenue, Ings Road, Gillshill Road and Holderness Road with the Fair, while Service 67 will serve North Bransholme, Bodmin Road, Bransholme Centre, Sutton Park, Beverley Road and the City Centre. Return journeys from the Fair will operate throughout the evening between 7.30pm and 11.05pm, with later buses running on Fridays and Saturdays until 11.20pm.
Adult Day Return tickets will be available on all special services for £6.00, while young people aged 19 and under can travel for £4.40 return. Children under five travel free, and a £14 Group Ticket will be available for up to five people travelling together. Customers using the shuttle service can do so at no extra charge when connecting from a regular Stagecoach service into Hull Interchange with one of these tickets.
For visitors travelling from further afield, Stagecoach will once again operate Park and Ride services from Humber Bridge Car Park and the Priory Park site on the A63. Both services will run directly to Anlaby Road, a short walk from the Fair.
Park and Ride fares have also been kept affordable, with adult return tickets priced at £6.00, under-19 returns at £4.40 and an £18 Group Ticket available for up to five people travelling together. Children under five can travel free.

Catch regular local Stagecoach services to Hull Interchange to connect with the Hull Fair shuttle service.
- Services 2 and 2F Hull Fair Shuttle
Will run from Hull Interchange, via Park Street and Anlaby Road to Hull Fair, every 7/8 minutes until 1900, from Bay 8 and Bay 10.
Special services to Hull Fair
These services run direct to Hull Fair, so there’s no need to change buses in Hull Interchange.
- Services 13
Will run from Bilton Grange, Greatfield, Preston Road, Southcoates Lane, Holderness Road direct to Hull Fair on certain journeys between 4.30pm and 6.30pm. Look out for the F on the front of the bus.
- Services 62
Will run from Kingswood, Noddle Hill, Spring Cottage, Bellfield Avenue, Ings Road, Gillshill Road, Holderness Road and City Centre direct to Hull Fair,between 4.30pm and 6.30pm.
- Services 67
Will run from North Bransholme, Bodmin Road, Bransholme Centre, Sutton Park, Beverley Road and City Centre direct to Hull Fair, between 4.30pm and 6.30pm.
Local services to get you home from Hull Fair
Evening buses will run up to every 30 minutes:
- Service 2 hop on at Anlaby Road to Boothferry Estate
- Service 3 hop on at Chanterlands Avenue to Orchard Park
- Service 350 hop on at Anlaby Road to Barton and Scunthorpe (every 60 mins)
Extra DIRECT buses will run from Hull Fair to Kingswood, Bransholme and East Hull
- Hop on board at the Anlaby Road bus stop near West Park, between 1930 and 2305, with the last bus at 2320 on Fridays and Saturdays.
- Service 13 will run from Hull Fair to Holderness Road, Southcoates Lane, Preston Road, Greatfield and Bilton Grange.
- Service 62 will run from Hull Fair to Holderness Road, Gillshill Road, Ings Road, Bellfield Avenue, Spring Cottage, Noddle Hill and Kingswood
- Service 67 will run from Hull Fair to Beverley Road, Sutton Park, Bransholme Centre, Bodmin Road and North Bransholme.
Park and Ride Services
From Humber Bridge Car Park – Sat Nav HU13 0LN (Service 22)
- Buses will run to Hull Fair up to every 10 or 15 minutes Monday to Friday from 1600 until 2030, and Saturday from 1300 until 2030.
- Buses will run back from Hull Fair Monday to Thursday 1730 until 2305, Friday 1730 until 2320 and Saturday 1430 until 2320.
- Buses that run from Hull Fair after 1930 will run to both Priory Park and Humber Bridge so you’ll never get the wrong bus!!!
From Priory Park and Ride – Sat Nav HU4 7DY (Service 22)
- Buses will run to Hull Fair up to every 10 minutes Monday to Friday from 1600 until 2030, and Saturday from 1300 until 2030.
- Buses will run back from Hull Fair Monday to Thursday 1730 until 2305, Friday 1730 until 2320, and Saturday 1430 until 2320.
- Buses that run from Hull Fair after 1930 will run to both Priory Park and Humber Bridge so you’ll never get the wrong bus.
