Ahead of World Homeless Day on Saturday 10th October, Emmaus Hull & East Riding is calling on people across Hull and surrounding areas to come together, raise awareness and help support people who have experienced homelessness.

This is an opportunity to shine a light on the realities of homelessness and to remind people that behind every statistic is an individual with their own story, challenges and hope for the future.
Emmaus Hull & East Riding provide more than a place to stay. The charity offers a safe and supportive community where people receive tailored support to rebuild their lives.
This World Homeless Day, there are plenty of ways the local community can show their support.
Whether it’s taking on a sponsored run, organising a bake sale, holding a quiz night or simply making a donation. Every contribution helps support people on their journey away from homelessness.
Stephanie Dixon, CEO said, “It gives us a chance to talk about homelessness, and most importantly, do something about it. At Emmaus Hull & East Riding we see the difference community, support and opportunity can make.
We are asking people across Hull to get involved in any way they can. Every action helps us continue our work and remind people that they are not alone.”
Emmaus Hull & East Riding is encouraging supporters to make this World Homeless Day a chance to turn compassion into action.
