Active+ has appointed a local radio breakfast presenter as Events Manager to drive business to The Woolsheds, their function suite, and the centre as a whole.
Janine Gosling was The Yorkshire Choice Award’s Businesswoman of the year 2017-2018, has been in the entertainment industry most of her life, and some will recognise her voice from 107FM’s The Freshly Squeezed Breakfast.
Janine is no stranger to Active+. She runs one of her popular My Baby Can Dance classes from the centre, which she founded in 2012.
“I’m really looking forward to being part of the team,” said Janine. “Active+ is a gem of a centre, combining live entertainment, venue hire, sports and children’s activities all year round – all for the community of Hull!”
Marc Trice, the centre’s Director said: “Janine is very enthusiastic and passionate about what she does.
“She is well known in local circles, and we’re very confident the events side of the business will take off quickly with her input.”
