Beal helps key workers secure their dream new home

Family-owned housebuilder Beal Homes is helping key workers make their dream move by contributing up to £12,500 towards their deposit.

The key worker support scheme is available to nurses, police officers, teachers, firefighters and emergency responders.

Beal will contribute five per cent – up to a maximum of £12,500 – towards the deposit for a home in the housebuilder’s First Step and Aspire ranges.

It means key workers buying popular Beal house types from these ranges, including the two-bedroom Tribeca, and three-bedroom Dalton, Butterwick and Hackness homes, will receive up to half of the 10% deposit which is typically required by mortgage lenders.

The scheme forms part of a wider Peace of Mind Pledge launched by Beal to help buyers move with confidence.

Sue Waudby, Sales and Marketing Director at East Yorkshire-based Beal, said: “We know that, for many buyers, saving for a deposit can be the hardest part of securing a home purchase, so this support scheme directly addresses that issue.

“Key workers are the beating heart of the workforce and work tirelessly in difficult conditions to keep people healthy and safe.

“We hope this scheme will give Beal buyers in these key worker roles peace of mind and confidence when making their move.”

Other popular house types in the First Step range include the two-bedroom Gramercy and two-bed Stokesley. Beal’s Aspire range of homes includes the three-bedroom Roxby, Malham and Levisham house types.

Beal recently announced a Peace of Mind Pledge, launched in response to concerns around energy and living costs. The pledge brings together a package of support for buyers, reflecting Beal’s commitment to helping customers make the move to their dream new home.

The support from Beal for buyers includes:

  • Part Exchange – a simple four-step process in which Beal buys your existing home and makes your purchase as stress-free as possible.
  • Beal’s own Smooth Move scheme – buyers with an existing home benefit from a free valuation, no agent fees and help from Beal with arranging viewings and negotiating the bestprice during the sale.
  • Independent mortgage advice – free advice from independent mortgage advisors who can help you find the best deal on the market for the purchase of your new home.

Beal has also highlighted the energy and carbon savings which can be made by choosing a new-build home.

A recent report by the Home Builders Federation (HBF) found owners of new-build homes save over £2,000 a year on their gas and electricity bills compared to those living in older properties.
