As the highly-anticipated 2021 Bennetts British Superbike Championship kicks off today, Hull-based vehicle branding service Brandfixx is backing one young rider all the way, after announcing an exciting new sponsorship deal.
South African rider Bjorn Estment will be on the starting grid for round one at Oulton Park, and he is tipped to catch the eye in more ways than one.
The 34-year-old will line up as part of the Powerslide Catfoss team for his second season on the grid, wearing the Brandfixx name for the first time.
Bjorn commented: “I’m looking forward to getting on the BSB grid and doing what I do best. The support I’ve had from all my sponsors is humbling and it means I can get out on the track knowing that I have everything in place to give the 2021 season my all.”
The Brandfixx logo will be caught on cameras across the UK as it sits on Bjorn’s bike, racing suit and helmet, following the announcement that he has signed a new sponsorship deal with the firm.
Bjorn’s truck and garage have also been kitted out to make sure he looks the part going into the first race weekend at Oulton Park, which gets underway today (25 June).
Brandfixx managing director, Greg Saunderson, said: “The journey we have been on in the short time since we launched has been incredible. Having Bjorn onboard shows we really mean business and we can’t wait to be in his corner when racing gets underway.
“Having the Brandfixx name on his gear means exposure in British Superbike’s top event which is great for us. But it is equally exciting to be able to support such a talented rider and see him develop as the season goes on.”
Launched by father and son team David and Greg Saunderson in Hull, Brandfixx’s unique vehicle decals concept was born out of difficulties in the car wrapping industry associated with the traditional method of branding a vehicle by manually covering a vehicle with a large, printed sheet of vinyl.
Brandfixx’s process uses a modular technique, designed, manufactured, and fitted to suit every type of vehicle.
Bjorn added: “Everyone who sees the van is amazed and wants to see more of what Brandfixx can do. I can’t wait to start racing, proudly representing my team and my new, extended crew featuring David, Greg and the brilliant Brandfixx brand.
“I now really look the part and I’ve had several people asking me how they can get their vehicles fitted out in a similar way.
“I’m hoping to build on my first season and continue to make a name for myself in the sport I love.
“Being on the British Superbike Championship grid is a tremendous privilege and I’m hoping to kick on and secure a place at the World Championships, meaning this is just the start of what is already an exciting partnership.”
