Mark your calendars for the annual Cottingham Open Gardens event, set to take place on Sundays 15 and 22 June from 10am to 4pm. This captivating event promises a delightful day filled with natural beauty, inspiration and fun, all in aid of Dove House Hospice.

Cottingham Open Gardens has become a beloved tradition within the local community, offering a rare opportunity for nature enthusiasts and the full family to explore the hidden unique gems of local gardens whilst discovering the creativity behind each one. Each garden offers something different whilst also having a variety of entertainment, music, afternoon teas, plants for sale and lots of other family-friendly activities taking place to help raise proceeds for the hospice.
Tiffany Brodie, Community Fundraiser at Dove House Hospice, said: “Cottingham Open Gardens is always such a fantastic event, and it’s amazing to see it raise over £10,000 for the hospice every year! A huge thank you to all the gardens taking part this year. Your kindness makes a real difference, helping Dove House keep providing the vital care and support for families and patients across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. We’re so grateful!”
Entry is £5 per adult with accompanied under 16s being free. To purchase an event programme, please visit any participating gardens on the day or in advance from the Dove House Hospice shop in Cottingham, The Duke of Cumberland, King Billy Pub, Barkers, and Hays Salon.
