Could you be in with the chance of winning £2023 while supporting your local hospice?

Terrance received end-of-life care at Dove House late last year, his life partner of 36 years David shared their story in support of the hospice.

“I wasn’t worried about us coming to the hospice for end-of-life care for Terry. When you get old you still think you can do it all but sometimes you can’t. Caring for Terry at home was hard but we had come to a point where I just couldn’t do it anymore and I needed help.

“At Dove House, I could stay with Terry and be with him for what little time we had left together. Everyone went above and beyond, it is quite outstanding.

“The hospice makes such a difference, they make you feel like part of the team and included every step of the way.”

The hospice helped Terrance and David treasure every last moment and allowed them to be together until the very end. This was only able to happen because of local people supporting Dove House.

David is appealing to the local community to consider taking part in this year’s New Year Raffle to support Dove House Hospice: “I can never thank Dove House enough for being there when we needed them. With your help, the care the hospice showed us can be given to many more families.”

Playing the New Year Raffle 2023 is a fun way of providing vital services and supporting your local community while also having the chance to win £2023 in cash or lots of other incredible prizes.

The funds raised make a huge difference to those requiring the exceptional care and relief provided by the hospice. This year’s Spring Raffle is our only raffle of 2023 and gives those participating the chance to win the year in cash – £2023.  For just £1 it is not to be missed!”

As well as Dove House Hospice, the New Year Raffle, run by Your Charity Lottery, is raising funds for other charities, including hospital charities, support for children with disabilities, veterans, and vulnerable adults.
