The team at a Middleton on the Wolds business are celebrating after being shortlisted in a regional food and drink awards programme.

Soanes Poultry has reached the final in the Producer/Grower category at the inaugural York Press Food and Drink awards, which celebrate the best of the area’s hospitality and food scene.
Soanes Poultry’s MD, Ben Lee, said: “We’re proud of our Yorkshire provenance and it means a lot to reach the final of these new awards which celebrate the region’s thriving food and drink scene.”
The team face competition from Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil and Yorkshire Heart Vineyard.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony at the National Railway Museum on 5th October. The ceremony will be hosted by food and drink broadcaster Nigel Barden, who said: “I look forward to the awards ceremony to discover who’ll be carrying off the accolades – they’ll need to be good!”
