There will be shoulder pads, smart quiffs, and a reminder that everyone is beautiful as Hull Theatres announce a new series of sensational shows this week.
The East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire based All For One Choir are heading Back to the 80s with a fabulous concert at Hull City Hall on 14 December 2022.
Leg warmers, big hair, and neon clothing will be all the rage when the community choir hit the stage with their remarkable renditions of songs from 80s legends including Kate Bush, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Toto, B52’s, Queen, and Bon Jovi.
The concert will feature the incredible AFO vocalists, G Choir, Britain’s Got Talent stars The Garnett Family and special guest James Wood.
Providing much-loved nostalgia from a different era, will be Walk Right Back when the hit show returns to Hull City Hall on 10 June 2023 by popular demand. This phenomenal production tells the story of one of the most successful musical duos of all time – The Everly Brothers – and features hits such as Bye Bye Love, All I Have To Do Is Dream and Cathy’s Clown.
Over at Hull New Theatre a thing of beauty emerges as Northern Ballet presents The Ugly Duckling on 18 February 2023. This enchanting family show retells the famous Hans Christian Andersen fairytale and follows her journey from ‘ugly’ to beautiful.
