Festive films, the story of the Queen of Soul and a King of Comedy all at Hull City Hall

Stunning Christmas films, a ‘supreme’ story, and stand-up comedy are all set to light up the stage at Hull City Hall.

The Snowman Tour Including Shaun The Sheep – The Flight Before Christmas​ will make the festive season one to remember with a special screening of family-favourite The Snowman, accompanied by a live orchestra, on Sunday 11 December.

Alongside this classic film, the sensational Shaun The Sheep – The Flight Before Christmas will also be screened with live orchestration, with both films accompanied by some of the UK’s finest musicians, making for a ‘Santastic’ afternoon of fun for everyone aged from 3 to 103.

​From a superb cinema event to the spellbinding journey of one of the greatest singers of all time – The Diana Ross Story celebrates the soul icon’s career from The Supremes to her illustrious success as a solo performer.

The show on Saturday 19 November 2022 features all the classic hits, including Where Did Our Love Go, Baby Love, Stop in The Name of Love, Upside Down, My Old Piano, I’m Coming Out, and Chain Reaction.

Stand-up takes over the stage on Sunday 25 November 2023 with the irreverent Roy Chubby Brown in an evening of down-to-earth comedy, which has seen him crowned ‘Britain’s King of Comedy’.
