Frank Turner is to perform at Hull’s Bonus Arena on Friday 3 September.
This standing and seating show will replace the proposed outdoor show at Zebedee’s Yard, Hull and all original tickets remain valid. ‘Supply chain issues’ had meant the previous outdoor gig has had to be moved indoors into the Arena.
Frank Turner will headline the gig with a stellar support bill from Skinny Lister, Guise, Berries and Pet Needs.
New tickets for this event are on sale now with both standing and seats available.
A spokesman for the event organisers said: “During this time of great uncertainty and challenges for live events, supply chain issues have meant staging an outdoor concert is immensely challenging and unfortunately in our case now unfeasible. We have therefore taken the decision to work alongside an established venue to make sure we can stage this concert safely.”
Frank Turner added: “We are of course aware that the change in situation for the show from outdoors to indoors may be difficult for some. Our choice was between indoors and no show, so we went for this. All attendees will be informed directly with regards to entry procedures and everyone will be working to make the shows safe and comfortable for everyone. After the experience of last week’s shows, I am confident we can do this.”
A spokesman for the Bonus Arena added: “After almost 18 months we are delighted to be hosting gigs and events once again and we are delighted we can step in to ensure Frank Turner’s visit to Hull can go ahead as planned. With the visit of Blossoms on 30 August and then Elbow, The Specials, Bring Me The Horizon and Tom Grennan within just a few weeks, it’s an exciting time for live music to return to the Bonus Arena.”
Standing and seated tickets are available online from Ticketmaster for this event. Original ticketholders with any questions should contact their point of purchase.
